By far one of the best horror stories I've ever read. The snappy writing and pacing make you feel the anxiety the characters are going through. If you like the more intimate and human horror stories than this will be the perfect book for you. With thoughtful ponderings on the nature of mental health, inherited trauma, and the human urge to belong to something greater than oneself.

Content warning for the book: Blood, gore, death, mental health.
