Review of 'Brother Odd (Odd Thomas Novels)' on 'Goodreads'

I am revisiting a few of my old reads while I can't decide on something new to read or I am stalled with a book that I want to read and finish. And this brought me to Brother Odd. Though not my favourite Odd Thomas book it is still a pretty good addition to the series. I know Koontz is tends to preach his own sets of beliefs or morals I am willing to let it go usually as his books are sometimes entertaining and also it is difficult to find a book where an author doesn't try to expound on their thoughts and beliefs.

This book takes place in a monastery and is sort of a locked room mystery with the whole mountain as a room what with all of the participants are trapped in the monastery due to a blizzard. If I look at it that way, …
