Through the window, she sees the farmer's family gathered around a bright Box God--and what the Box God reveals about something called an 'industrial meat farm' shakes Elsie's understanding of her world to its core. Review of 'Holy cow' on 'Goodreads'

I might rate this 2+. I read it on a whim, having seen its cover in an article about celebrity-authored books. It's a basic, sort of preachy commentary on our treatment of animals told humorously (and not for work or children). It's a quick read. Take it or leave it.
