Review of 'Final girls' on 'Storygraph'

Nothing about this was good. I only finished this because I was at work with nothing else to do and thought I might as well finish it as not. I recommend doing what I did and skimming through it as fast as possible - you won't miss any plot points (you'll probably have them worked out a quarter of the way in in any case) and the awful writing is far less noticeable. I only wish I hadn't read the first few chapters properly.

Edit: the author is a man writing under a fake name, one who clearly has no idea how women interact with each other, or how a woman could possibly be an interesting character unless she is an addict, mentally ill or dead, so that explains a lot about the faults of this book.
