I thought Parental Guidance (#1) was fun hockey smut. There was humor, relationship-building, steam, and a big dog owned by a tiny woman. I gave it a 3+/5.
Awk-Weird (#2) gets a 2- from me (and I'm considering going lower). The best part of the book is Tess's kitten. The rest of it just pissed me off. The main couple has sex at a wedding; she gets pregnant; they spend most of the book insisting that they're only temporary. Gross & unsatisfying.
