It was on ok book. I won't be reading any more by this author. I only finished this book because I bought it. I don't remember why I bought it.
Fascinating collection of stories. I never realized I was missing this kind of African perspective until I found it. Some of the stories are a bit sad, but the one I like the most is the father's story, of his life in the mines of Johannesburg and after escaping.
