This was good. Found it a little slow at points, but I think that had more to do with me than the book.
I thought this book just went on and on about nothing. I was interested in any of the characters, and there are so many different races to keep track of... I am really disappointed because he also wrote [b:A Shadow in Summer|208|A Shadow in Summer (Long Price Quartet, #1)|Daniel Abraham|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1312020105s/208.jpg|1711253] which was a great book. I've also read book 2 in that series, and really enjoyed it. Don't know why I couldn't get into this book :(
