One of the worst plot wise but with some great 5 star moments.

The sweeping tale of one young family fighting to find their place in the worlds. When two soldiers from opposite sides of a never-ending galactic war fall in love, they risk everything to bring a fragile new life into a dangerous old universe. Fantasy and science fiction are wed like never before in a sexy, subversive drama for adults.
One of the worst plot wise but with some great 5 star moments.
What a great introduction to graphic novels!
We'll have to see where it goes... ok, I lied, it looks like where it will go in the immediate follow up is incredibly predictable. Of course, mystery is not really a theme or feature of Saga, what is important is character and character interactions. This is a set-up, and the characters either come fully formed or what development there is ends up being somewhat cliched.
It's not bad, but I'm not ready to agree with everyone else that it is something special.
