The enemy is Other. The enemy is us. They want the Earth, they want us to have it. They came to wipe us out, they came to save us. Beneath these riddles lies one truth: Cassie has been betrayed. So has Ringer. Zombie. Nugget. And all 7.5 billion people who used to live on our planet. Earth's remaining survivors will need to decide what's more important: saving themselves ... or saving what makes us human.

Review of 'The last star' on 'Goodreads'

4.5
In The Last Star, the plot moves rapidly, but still allows the characters to seem alive. The narrative switches between different POVs, sometimes in 1st person and sometimes in 3rd person. I really enjoy the writing style. Don’t read this series if you do not like violence! It is extremely gory. The one thing that I did not like about The Last Star is how much people swore. I do not remember people swearing as much in the first two books and it aggravates me. I wish that I reread The Infinite Sea before, because the plot is so complicated that I was a little confused when I read The Last Star. I highly recommend the 5th Wave series!
