Pros:
Pretty accurate and affectionate portrayal of fandom culture, dear to my own geek heart
Very sweet and extremely relatable male lead. I would want to hang out with him in real life
Cons:
Well, one big con, but it completely ruins the book for me, hence the 2 star rating. Female lead. Dear unnumbered tentacles of Cthulhu, female lead! She fails to stand up for herself even once, no matter how much is at stake and how little she has to lose. A complete and utter doormat. Aside of that, she completely fails to interact with people ever, has zero interests except her one fandom, and even her attachment to the fandom is based on nothing but daddy issues.
