The background where the stories develop help them imagine and set the scenes in different environments. Children are willing to role-play the conversations between Frog and Toad. An excellent choice to share time with small kids.
Frog and Toad are two folks, different as can be. The odd couple, as it were.
It is a (mostly) lovely look at the mundane and beautiful things that happen in daily life. Wistful, sweet, and grounded.
Glad I finally read some Frog & Toad.
