In this land ruled by ever-feuding houses and suffocating shadow, what doesn't kill you is merely saving you for later. And what saves you for later has devious plans for you and your friends. Jesse finds himself caught in a silent war, fought with words rather than blades, run by those who would stop at nothing to see their ends met. And if that includes tearing an already fragile guild apart...
