read this several years ago and really enjoyed it. A read read for anyone interested in philosophy. Presents major ideas in the history of philosophy in a fictional form
I didn't realize I never finished reading this until, re-reading it last month, I discovered text I didn't recognize. It's a great gimmick, but there's nothing special about the place he chose to end the book that differentiates it from a dozen other earlier opportunities. I was pleased, but underwhelmed.
