Reminds me a bit of the first [b:Dream Park|357922|Dream Park (Dream Park, #1)|Larry Niven|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1309200983s/357922.jpg|1775372], only without the magic and wizardry. Definitely some Matrix influences. I did not see the end coming. Overall, a fun ride, never a dull moment. Less gruesome than [b:The Maze Runner|6186357|The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1)|James Dashner|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1375596592s/6186357.jpg|6366642] by the same author.
