Keith Stevenson reviewed The inverted world by Christopher Priest

One of the things that keeps me coming back to SF is stories that immerse me in a world so disorientating my brain has to work overtime to work out wtf is actually going on. I really enjoy piecing together the logic of why a situation is as it is. Inverted World is told in a very simple and readable way, but increasingly we are presented with pieces of information that just don't tally with each other and/ or what has gone before. It's a masterfully controlled piece of storytelling and the ending is just as challenging, answering some questions but leaving others unresolved so you're not sure who is telling the truth or seeing things as they really are.
