An interesting premise that doesn't quite come together as a story. Once you've got to the stand off between the cultists and the family and all the cards are on the table, where do you go from there? If the apocalyptic visions are true then obviously the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. If not, the family need to GTFO. If you're not going to say either way, and particularly if you're going to present the story from multiple points of view, there's nothing for the reader to grab onto and you never quite have that investment that you need in where it's all going. I didn't anyway.
