Rainbow Valley' is the seventh book in the 'Anne of Green Gables' series. Anne Shirley has now been married to Gilbert Blythe for 15 years, and the couple have six children. The new minister has arrived in Glen St. Mary along with his four children. The children cause mischief and scandal amongst the townsfolk. Only the Blythes know of their loyalty and kindness and help them to see the error in their ways.
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. It focused on the manse children, but I loved the insights into the characters that the book gave. I was laughing at their antics and wincing whenever they got into trouble.
