I'm not sure if my list of shame helped me buy less books last year or not, but it certainly helped me remain more aware of what I was buying. Which is why I'm making another list for 2026! I hope this one remains more reasonable and I buy less. I'm stressed and also very busy, which makes reading hard, so hopefully it also makes buying books hard.
