Typically interested in Sci/Fi, for the most part, but read some fantasy, Greek Classics, the occasional biography if it is someone I care about. Science related non-fiction is good and Horror is good too.

Reading is for relaxation for me so I often don't read the most difficult fair. I do challenge myself from time to time.

I am looking for good narratives describing Hell as a literal place. (like The Inferno)

I am not Nurotipical.

Review of 'Salt Sugar Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us' on 'Goodreads'

Essential is not strong enough a word for this book, you will come out the other end believing that the processed food industry is actually not an industry but a cult. you will hate sugar, respect salt, and be very, very, VERY choosy about fat. If you want the insight and a reason to stop processed food, try this, worked for me.
