Great coming-of-age / after-the-bomb story. I like the detailed way the surroundings are described. Nice pace, never felt bored. Character development is good. Although i'm usually more into tech scifi, i really enjoyed this story.

Reminds me a bit of the first [b:Dream Park|357922|Dream Park (Dream Park, #1)|Larry Niven|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1309200983s/357922.jpg|1775372], only without the magic and wizardry. Definitely some Matrix influences. I did not see the end coming. Overall, a fun ride, never a dull moment.
