Of the many thing to enjoy in life reading is one of them. I read in English and Spanish. It can be "regular" books, Light novels, Webnovels, and Audiobooks. I do get eye strain so I take my time reading. Genres of interest are Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Contemporary_Teen_ Young_Adult, Non-fiction, Autobiography, Life, Science, Society, Mental_Health, Technology, and Philosophy/Religion. For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years …

Good start with a weak beggining.

4 stars

The first quarter of the book is weak, boring, and I almost stopped reading. Is good that I didn't because the story, narration, and overall writing gets much better. What I like about the story is that it shows the flaws in the characters and the consequences making them more alive as opposed to too fictional because of obvious plot armor.

Qi Peijia: The Legendary Mechanic 5 stars

What do you do when you wake up and find yourself inside the very game …

Long long light novel. It's not perfect but is one of my guilty pleasures. Mostly Sci-fi, some fantasy, isekai, and a great ending. Cons to tolerate or ignore is the mandatory Chinese lick booting nationalism that happens once in a while and some of the other cultural issues. The way I see it is that I'm reading a draft that needs to be edited to a new edition made for the western world. There's at least 2 other Chinese light_novels / web_novels that are great but are on "hiatus". In reality they are discontinued because they didn't pass the Chinese government filter so the authors cannot finish them.
