it’s hard for me to write what i think about this book because i read it in many disjointed sessions over a long period of time. i guess it was OK?

fascinating story, couldn't put it down (read it faster than anything i've read in a long time), but i do wish the book had spent some time dissecting the conditions that could allow this to happen (silicon valley culture, state of regulations, etc). a great read in any case.

this looked like something right up my alley, but it was a lot more lightweight than i was expecting. it started out pretty fun, but i found that eventually i stopped caring about what was happening to the characters. i guess i'm not the audience for this after all :(
