I love reading non-fiction: history, science, poetry. Also fiction too :) I’m an English speaker in the United States but enjoy world literature and learning languages. I’m trying to keep my French in shape and learn more Spanish. I get passionate about social justice: human rights, children’s rights, disability rights, and more.

NATIONAL BOOK AWARD LONGLIST NPR “BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR” SELECTION NEW YORK TIMES EDITORS’ …

This is the best book about music I’ve ever read. (That’s not saying too much, as I think this is only the second book about music I’ve ever read? But still.) It’s well written, which - it’s always nice to read good art about art. Also the science was interesting, except that quantum stuff is too weird for my brain.
