Listened to the audiobook; loved the cameos from the cast / crew, and a surprising treat to learn about the ins/outs of how a movie gets made. Fun read.

Pete Buttigieg: Shortest Way Home (2020, Liveright Publishing Corporation) 4 stars

Among the best political autobiographies I've read. Buttigieg is a gifted writer who grounds his own story in distinctly American themes. But he then expands his story to show a template for how he thinks about governing, and the result left me feeling hopeful at a time when most political discussions leave me frustrated (or worse).

Grateful that he took the time to capture his thoughts on what a political rebirth can look like in America. Highly recommended read to imagine what governing in the 21st century could look like.
