Mercedes Lackey's Last Pawn series is one of my favorite series of all time. Vanyel was my hero as a young teen. Her other books have often been good, but not quite on the same awesomeness level.
I got this book (all three, actually) as part of the Fantasy Bundle. Fast paced, interesting and intriguing - curious where it will go!
