Northern Wrath

Northern Wrath was a bit slow to get started, but once it did it was utterly gripping.

And the ending was both powerful and superb.

I quite enjoyed this book's magic system and depictions of the ancient Norse gods and the other races within that mythology. The action sequences, especially the battle ones were intense. Occasionally there were slight issues with the language chosen, I'm not sure if this was a poor translation from Danish (which I think is the author's first language) or if they're there for effect.
