Review of 'Fireman' on 'Goodreads'

I really wanted to enjoy this book, but really struggled with it. Though I loved the several hidden references (to Hill's own work, as well as to his father's Dark Tower series) throughout, I found the ending unsatisfying, and the many interim conflicts resolved too simply for the amount of time invested in them.
