I admire Le Carre but think he is just not the author for me! I didn't finish the book; finally I just watched the movie. I don't know why they changed Rikki Tarr's adventure from Hong Kong to Turkey for the movie. But that's neither here nor there.
This book's difficulty might be stimulating for Le Carre fans. It just made me tired.
