3.5 rounded up. Yes, the series is formulaic. What longstanding series isn't, at least to a degree? I thought, overall, that this was a pretty good installment. I was pleasantly surprised, given some of the ultra-negative advance reviews I read. I'm still a Stephanie Plum fan.
