4 stars
Family Resemblance is the product of a three-year project capturing the portraits and thoughts on resemblance of his subjects. Mueller, who is adopted, writes about his feelings about not sharing family resemblance. Another forward is written by an author of a book about women who lost children to adoption in the 50s, 60s, and early 70s (before Roe v. Wade). Interesting (though minimal) text. Lovely presentation of family portraits.
