No real spoilers, just a note to self

This looks like a great series, find a child to give it to

1. Heath Miller is a brilliant narrator, and he does a beautiful job with this book. He gets 5/5 stars.
   2. This book is very derivative of Seanan McGuire’s other work, the Wayward Children series, and while the words are beautiful, and I would normally gobble this kind of thing right up, I could not understand the point of this book beyond its loose connection to Middlegame (which I have not read yet). It’s not special because it’s been done already. By the same author.
