"Set in a dangerous near future world, The Book of M tells the captivating story of a group of ordinary people caught in an extraordinary catastrophe who risk everything to save the ones they love. I don't know if i love or like this book. Parts of it was great. Others were a drag. It was paced well for the fisrt half but lagged as the book went on. For me this book could have been about the characters or the actual plot of the book ( because having both in a book is rare and difficult). There are strong characters in this book and the premise of losing your memories along with your shadows is captivating in a story. But towards the end of the book the story started losing its charm for me. It started getting a bit too abstract for me. But all in all this is a solid start to my reading year.

I'd rate it a 3.5
