I don't think I've ever been this frustrated with a book in my 22 years of living. I get that when a sibling is really close with one another, they'll do anything in order to protect them. However, Scarlet goes far and beyond that when she can't even live her own life the way she wants to. Tella is a bit of a brat throughout this entire ordeal. First of all, you don't make a fucking bet with someone you don't know. And you especially don't make a deal with someone in order to see if someone really loves you. To be honest, if we cut out some of Scarlet's moaning and groaning about finding her sister and not trusting Julian, then we might be able to get a bit of world building out of the book.
Honestly, this is just my own opinion. Many people love this book to death and I can see why. I was just too frustrated with the characters to actually enjoy it. The ending especially frustrated me to no end.
