Review of 'Brief cases' on 'Goodreads'

Wow the quality of some of these are dreadful. Looking at you, the Molly stories. I feel like he needs more women to read his drafts (also stop watching Buffy. Please.). This is a persistent failing of Butcher; he's fine with one POV. Multiple POVs he just fumbles terribly, and this is no exception. Get some women beta readers, please!

The audiobook is really good though, on the whole. They got a full cast in to do the different POVs for the stories, and they're really strong choices. The weird accent they gave Mouse in the last story reads as a bit racist to me, so um. Can we not? Can we please not?
