Review of 'Mennonite in a Little Black Dress' on 'Goodreads'
3 stars
An enjoyable, well-written perspective on Mennonite religion and culture. While the author was likeable and her story interesting, some of the chapters rambled a bit, and I felt like she tried too hard at times to be funny. Also, I wish the Appendix--a primer on Mennonite history--had been at the beginning of the book, as it would have been helpful to understand the basics before reading about the culture. That aside, it's worth a read--would recommend.
