This was 99.5% excellent until three pages in the last chapter. Gee whiz, young teens had independence and spirit, and the author Julie Campbell researched her horse care. equestrian skills, and young adult psychology. Trixie seems as relatable and operates under moral principles as fellow teen sleuth Judy Bolton did.
