It was an interesting read. i liked the fact that this took place in the desert and that it held a beautiful world filled with monsters and demons.
and... that's all the positives i have to say.
don't get me wrong, the way she told the story was fascinating. i just feel like there should've been more. throughout the book, i feel like she wasn't keeping a straight path on what the plot was. it kept jumping around too many times and i didn't have a narrow idea exactly what the plot was supposed to be. the first part where she described lo-melkhiin having murdered his first wife just confused me at first. i didn't understand exactly what she was going for.
all in all, it was a good read, but i just won't pick it up again.
