The intro really got to me: the author mentioned a lack of utopian anarchist imagery and asked people to send them positive art incorporating the circle A. I've been looking for this as well, I enjoy the occasional burning cop car, bolt cutter and black bloc art as much as "everyone else", but anarchism has so much more to offer and there's not enough of it.
People created and sent those images and they are published in this book, along with the artist, a quote of theirs, and a short accompanying text by the author. I really like the art and hope that more of it will make it's way out of this book into the world.
The texts also focus on beautiful aspects of anarchism - not the utopian society we are working towards, but delightful aspects of common anarchist praxis. Most of it was put very …
