An excellent place to get started reading the suttas

This book of 152 sermons of the Buddha and his disciples is an excellent place to start for anyone serious about reading the suttas. Topics cover a wide range of doctrinal points as well as lots of practical advice for meditation and daily life as a disciple of the Buddha.

As of 2022, this is the only print book that contains the complete collection of suttas in the Majjhima Nikaya.
