Challenging. That's really all there is to this book. If I had read this book in college, my life would be very different now; and I can't help thinking that it'll be impossible to ignore the life-changing (life-ending) truth of the Gospel in light of having read it now. Full of meditations on making faith connect with reality, this book will tear down your preconceptions about the foolish, weak, idolatrous American faith, even if you already believed it was evil. I can't imagine being able to think about things the same after reading this book.
