Review of 'Divorce is the worst' on 'Goodreads'

Out of the three picture books published, at least so far (crossing fingers), this one is taking on the subject that seems to boil down the least. That said, I think that Higginbotham does a pretty excellent job in trying to address a child and their needs in a particularly difficult situation. While there should be writing for children whose parent's divorce is not as upsetting, the largest group that seems underserved by this title, I do feel like there is somewhat less of a need. I'm slightly biased though because I did come out of my parent's divorce with tons of baggage and very ostracized.

The art continues to be really well executed and inspiring. Bringing Higginbotham's ideas to approachable life.
