I went into this book with absolutely no other expectation than to enjoy a Regency Mystery, which seem to be my current fave type of mystery apparently. And I did. I liked that we get to see only Kiera's POV in this book. She seems to be an introvert who is trying to traverse a society that she has been thrust into after her husbands death and the actions he took and at the same time is trying understand feelings she has not felt before. I am looking forward to learning more about her in the next book.
