If the first book focused more on Nigel, this one is dedicated to Oscar and his family and heritage.
The cast has been established and you can get straight into the story and action (of which there is much more). Reminds me more of say a Supernatural episode than the Conjuring movie vibes the first book invoked.
I had a lot of fun reading it and once again, the characters are the best part. Their relationships (of all types) have wonderful chemistry and you want to cheer for all of them.
An enjoyable sequel for sure.
