I knew it! I knew Boaz was no good. Though they weren't really in a relationship officially, they had made the decision to date and be together. That commitment lasted for less than a week. And Amelie! How could she. Not only did her grab for power endanger the friend that she purported to try and help with that act she betrayed the trust that friend placed in her even after said friend put her neck on the line and gave her a place to stay. I get that losing her family made her sad. But that is the difference between her and Grier. While one is gave up on her friend and a chance to have a found family Grier tried to keep her found one and got betrayed for it and is trying to build a new one. For all the 1st book read like a YA …
