My rating of this book is hovering between 2.75 and maybe 3 stars. I loved the story, but it did drag on in parts. Though the relationship b/w the protagonists was good I was unable to turn a blind eye to their faults. It was both long winding in places and not long enough in places where we could see growth in a character if that makes any sense. It could also be that I am being harsh in my rating/review of the book as I have recently read a few books in the same genre and am facing a burnout or even nearing another book slump.

Regardless I do not think this book is going on my ever increasing reread yearly or biennially pile.
