I think what has me hooked on this series is the continuity of events. Though time passes between each book and there are a couple of side novellas that are referred to in between books the threads shown in previous books are picked up in the next book or later on in the series. There are not a lot of loose threads in this story. I mean what happened in book one directly affected book 6 and this one. This book had so much angst. I had a good cry reading some of the parts. And I loved that we got a sort of closure for some things from the 1st book and I am also quite happy about some of the decisions made by our MC's. I am looking forward to what Banet has in store for us in the next book where we get to meet werecats that are not just Jacky's Famiy.
