I enjoyed some of the new stories in this book (many have been published in other formats before) however I didn't like them nearly as much as the full length Mercy Thompson books. The first story, however, which delved into Bran and Samuel's background, was excellent.
Some stories here dragged a little, but loved the book anyway.
