nein reviewed Wolfsong by T. J. Klune (Green Creek, #1)
T. J. is it me?
3 stars
I loved The House in the Cerulean Sea and Under the Whispering Door. So maybe my expectations were too high?
Wolfsong is also written beautifully but the brooding characters, these intense predetermined connections, and the through and through wicked villains with superficial motives did not click for me. That said, I still had fun with it but I probably won't be reading the following books.
Here my favorite quote:
"I am wolf I am gnarly I am gnarly wolf"
