Ho iniziato a leggere questo libro con una lista infinita di pregiudizi perché ancora mi percepisco come snob. Ma quanto è bello leggere un libro che ti scorre veloce fra le dita ogni tanto? Stuart Turton ha strutturato benissimo i capitoli, lasciando fluire una storia e un mondo che si apre a poco a poco. Non lascia a bocca aperta, ma con un sorriso di soddisfazione e con la voglia di continuare a leggere, nel mio caso, fino all'una di notte. Peccato per il finale che non mi è piaciuto né come idea, né come scrittura.
