I was aware that smut fiction was a thing but I was imagining it like a repressed Victorian. Lots of metaphor and flowery language. Who knew. I can't say this was a good book - but I'm a sucker for a 'happily ever after' and I found this very fan fiction in style which made it feel very cozy.
